we reserved a place to stay at this hostel, turned up but no one was there, we phoned the guy and he told us to find somewhere elase because he was eating his lunch, plus we already paid online, this place is a joke The location of it is in some rundown town, in a block of flats, looks like a crack house ;-(

I have tried many ways to contact hostelworld but this seems to be the only way. This hostel cancelled on me the day I arrived in the city so I was left without any accomodation. I would like my deposit back. If this can't be done, I will contact my financial institution for another way to retrieve my money.

Rainy Kamyanet when we arrived did the old town in 1 day but Marcus the owner made our stay worth it despite the weather, friendly and always willing to help, good conversations, as to the hostel, located in an apt. feels like home, clean comfy beds, free internet, there is hot water, not scorching hot but does the job alright, kitchen to use, Marcus will try to improve hostels in Ukraine so lots of luck to him.

Although there was no hot water, the intimacy and openness of the staff made up for it, giving suggestions on out-of-the-way gems and even bringing everyone together for an enjoyable night on the town. great fun and amazing area.
