I found this hostel perfect for my partner and I on a quiet weeks break. The staff were very accomodating to our enquiries and were happy to help. We had a lovely view over the canal, the room was what we needed, great location and would definately stay here again.

This hotel is a bit off-the-beaten track. The neighborhood does not feel touristy, which I enjoyed. The stairs are super-narrow and there were moments when I was cursing the fact that the toilets were on a different floor, but I had a good stay. The best way to get there is to take the number 4 tram from Centraal Station.

It felt like you were on a boat with the tight spiral staircases but the room was fine and the heater worked a treat. The shower was in a cupboard which was weird but clean and fairly big. Location was great, right on a very pretty canal.

This hotel was great value for the location given the prices of rooms in Amsterdam - the free wifi worked well from our room and we were very comfortable.

quite close to the city centre,
we had to pay additional 10E for some sort of City Tax. The room was small but ok,although I am not gonna go there again as I found someones hair in my bed .....

The ventilation in the room is poor & the temperture in room is quite high which we can't sleep well.
There's air-con in the reception counter only.

Nice, comfortable room, noisy at night from my room because I was staying underneath a seating area on the upper floor.
