Pat is the best! He spent so much of his time helping me figure out my sightseeing and generally being pleasantly conversational. Having a pub just off the common room is a wonderful idea!

If you like the quiteness of this beautiful island, then this is the best place to stay. a unique house, family like accomodation in a wonderful surrounding!

We enjoyed our stay because it's an old villa. We felt like in a mystery story.
The stuff was very friendly and had helpful hints about Achill Island.

Achill Island is a beautiful place, and the owner Pat goes completely out of his way to make sure you enjoy your stay at Valley House. There's also a great bar, can't wait to go back again! Only downside is that it's a bit hard to get around without a car, but the friendly locals usually help you out there.
