The place is ok if you travel with car or you have plenty of money to spend on transfers. The english-speaking staff was missing, and we had to study place ourselves because we didn't know portuguese, at least we were given the timetable and map. The description wasn't fully informative, they never mentioned that you will have a BIG problem trying to get to the hostel in the evening - latest bus gets out at 18:25 and it's hard to find a taxi. There were several problems for us with transport.

We really enjoyed our stay here, it is very "Portuguese" . It is very peaceful, lovely gardens, and nice pool. In the directions, it might be a good idea to say "Big pink house, right on the main road, just past village of Janus, bus stops outside" because we missed it on first attempt. Very welcoming and friendly hostess.
