This is 5-star backpacker standard. We stayed in an immaculately clean twin room with private bathroom. Only thing was there's mixed standards of customer service at reception. It was stormy and cold (despite being summer) but our heater would not turn on - the guy at reception refused to help. When we returned at night, there was another guy at reception who was much nicer and on our request, looked into the problem straightaway. Besides from that minor issue, we loved the place.

A great hostel in a great location. Very well designed. Well-stocked, spacious kitchen. Would definitely stay again.

Brillant location and typical YHA. The staff were exellent, organised a free BBQ for Christmas day and made everyone really welcome.

Great location, but not brilliant service (no loo roll in the bathroom, linen a bit damp smelling). I'm assuming this was because they were really busy with the closure of Fox...
