Dorm rooms don't have locks,and you have to pay to get a blanketduvet. Other than that it was an OK hostel, reasonably close to Whakapapa (20 min by car).

Pleasant hostel with good communal showers and excellent kitchen with an oven.
Internet's expensive at $5 for 50 minutes,yes 50 minutes not an hour!
We went to NP to ski so we were dissapointed to find it costs $25 pp for a return trip to the ski fields which they try and justify by saying it costs them $100 minimum to run the bus.
A little hard to believe.
Would go back but would save a fortune by hiring a car.
Also there are no keys for the dormatories which is a little unorthadox.
