We received incorrect information from the hostel regarding a shuttle from the airport, which made transportation more complicated and was a frustrating way to begin the trip. We were told there would be a shuttle at the airport to take us into town, but then when we arrived a the airport we were told shuttles stopped running long before we arrived.

The staff has to have a good day otherwise they are horrible. Not everybody can speak good English, that not because we're stupid, but because it isn't are native language. They should just be a little more compasionate about that.

Typical YHA clean throughout but lacking in social activities which is defiantely needed in Nelson.

As with all YHA's this place is a little clinical. No wifi or tv in private rooms.
