Really enjoyed staying here - the owners where nice and helpful. Also, the outside onsen was great.

Was a little pokey and the 'onsen' where anything but big... or outdoors (as it was winter i guess). So I was disappointed by a few things. But it was clean, and the staff was nice.

Great experience of a traditional ryokan.The breakfast was delicious. We would recommend it to everybody!
The only problem it's hard to find, luckely a friendly woman help us find the way.

The family that runs this ryokan are really sweet, friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was very tasty, if you like Japanese style cooking. Although the onsens were small they still did the trick. The rotenburo was particularly nice as they had apples floating in it.

We had a wonderful stay here. the outdoor onsen is FANTASTIC (and you can have it all to yourself, as with any of the indoor ones, which are also very nice) and the included traditional breakfast was huge and delicious. The owner was kind enough to drive us to the Snow Monkey Park. We were very very glad we stayed here. Value for money, it was a remarkable find by my wonderful girlfriend.

The family at the Ryokan was very friendly to us even though we could not speak a word of Japanese. We had a wonderful breakfast every morning, and we could use the onsen for as long as we wanted every night. It's a very lovely and authentic place. They even gave us apples and souvenirs at the end of our stay >:)

Great onsen! The owner family are the nicest persons in the world. They only speak a little english, but they are very helpful. The onsens are 24h open and seperated betwenn women and men (indoors outdoors, switching). Room very nice and clean. Great breakfast and free trip to the snow mokeys park included.
