Lappland Hostel in Gafsele

Lappland Hostel is located in the 17th century village Gafsele, 25 kilometers south Asele town. You can get here easily with car or bus. Right in the wilderness but with access to a larger town with its services. We have 10 newly renovated rooms with 2 or 3 beds. There is also a kitchen available as well as a common room. The view is over river, mountain and valleys. Silence and wilderness. SKOLUDDEN HOSTEL is originally a school for Lappland children , now it is a cosy and welcoming hostel run by GS-gruppen AB. Shower and sauna are at your disposal. The parking is large and motor heaters are available during the cold months. We plan to offer snowmobile rental during the winter and in the summer you can rent boats. Fishing and hunting are popular activities in the area. The bus stops just outside the hostel during the school semesters and can take you to Asele town and further out in the world!
