The Golden Wheel in Prague

This charming boutique hotel featuring a well from the 14th century is located directly below Prague Castle, close to Charles Bridge and just a 10-minute walk from the centre. The hotel is very quietly located, on a cobbled street leading to the castleThe Golden Wheel hotel is situated on Nerudova street, named after the famous Czech writer who lived in this street. The Hotel is just a few steps from Prague Castle, on the cobbled road leading from Old Town Square across Charles Bridge to Prague Castle. The original building was destroyed by fire in 1541. Only the floors and the well still date from the 14th century. The painter Dittmann rebuilt the house in the 17th cenury. In 2003 it was completely reconstructed and transformed into this charming boutique hotel.
