The hotel was opened in October 2001 and is a part of the hotel and bungalow-resort 'Wannas Place - Andaman Sunset Resort'. The whole resort is surrounded by a tropical garden and includes a swimming pool and diving school. Restaurants, shops and the sea are only a few seconds walk away.
