Great vibe at the hostel. The garden is perfect for communal dinners and the bar is a great place to meet other guests. The hostel is kind of dirty and the beds are below par. Make sure to bring your flip-flops for the shower....kind of nasty. For 1-3 nights, this place works though.

It truly has character. And the staff is nice and ready to help.
But it is cold now (like for most people in Sofia since they don't have insulation and the Government will not turn on the heat yet).

It is what it is: artsy place with interesting stuff to look at. The shower and bathroom were poor, but the ambiance made up for it. Not much of a social place for the lone traveller. You should go though! P.S: Taxi to hostel = scam

The bunk beds were extremely uncomfortable and unsteady. Place pretty untidy and not clean but staff seemed friendly. Easier to get a drink than it is to get clean sheets.
