Angel, who runs this place, is brilliant -loads of fun and full of info. And he'll pick you up from the airport if you organise it in time. Mexico City is awesome.

a great neighborhood, better than the zocalo ... nice breakfast, simple and filling ... plenty of bathrooms ... hot water a bit lukewarm though

Staff were lovely - so friendly and helpful. In a safe location - and close to the metro to get all round the city.

The hostel was alright, especially for the price we paid. Helpful staff and good service. The only negative thing to say is that we didnt have a door to our room. But hey thats life as a backpacker!

good location central to city easy to access metro. felt safe. free airport pickup very helpful. staff was nice. offered lockers. only weird thing was shower setup on bottom level 3 showers in 1 room. used upper level private showers. otherwise, good value.

I'd stay there again.The neighborhood seemed to be more secure at night than the Zocalo where I had stayed on earlier trips. They seemed cared about the guests' welfare. When I checked in they issued me a "white noise machine" to drown out street sounds. Actually,the walls were thick so I did not need to use that. There was a free New Years Eve Party with great food.
