TOO LOUD! The doors and walls stop NO sound whatsoever, and the hallways echo terribly, so even when people are having normal-voiced conversations in the hallway (let alone screaming their lungs out at 4am), it's like they're standing in your room!

The bar attached to the hostel is great and the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful about everything. The fully stocked kitchen is a nice means for cooking and it is situated in a very convenient location. There's a chance to meet new friends and the amenities make this place a great value!

The six perosn dorm rooms were a bit crowded, and the bathroom door didn't work. There was hot water in the shower, but not in the sink. Other than that, it was quite nice, centrally located. Affordable. I wish they didn't hide the sugar during the day. That was a bit annoying when I wanted some tea in teh eveing.

We had a great stay here, the room was nice and clean and so was the bathroom. Good location as well, very easy to walk into the main part of Cork.

The owners were very nice and very helpful - I thought it would be hard to fall asleep, but it wasn't too loud. And it really was centrally located, just a few blocks from the bus and the train and everything important
