I did not enjoy Bush Village and cut my stay short. It felt dirty and it smelled.I worried about the safety of my stuff. To be fair the staff they were helpful, the bus went into Airlie Beach regularly and nothing seemed too much trouble. I just felt the place was sad and tired and in need of a complete refurbishment. I appreciate that this is hostel accommodation but even so there are better ones around.

A bit out of town but the shuttle bus they are running is pretty good. The cabins are quite hot in the summer and you have to pay for the air condition. Free breakfast is good.

Far away from the centre (12 hour walk) and a bit dirty it was (but maybe that was only our cabin....)

this hostel is fairly over priced for its single units. it is quite far from town but the free bus service to and from the centre is very useful. Cheap superemarket nearby and close to abel point marina. Pretty quite which is why we booked hostel. Extremely clean. we were in end cabin at end of drive way so anyone could stroll in if wanted too. staff extremely friendly and nice
