Awesome building. And the bunk beds were huge! No hitting the head here! Breakfast was great too. Kind of cold at night, but I guess that is Germany in December!

This is a pretty bare bones hostel. I stayed when it wasn't very crowded and it felt completely empty. The duvets provided could have been thicker, there was no soap provided in the toilets, and the showers had no door ran on a 10 second timer so you have to keep pressing the button. Totally adequate but not the most convenient and cozy place I have stayed in. The trams run by every few minutes on the main street outside, so bring earplugs.

The staff were very helpful in directing you on where to go and what to see. Really friendly atmopshere and quite laid back, not too much excitement going on.

Not very atmospheric as it is right next to the train station so you get a mix of people (business types, families, backpackers) not quite mingling together. Rooms are nice though and there is a good kitchen and communal area. Walking distance to the centre. I would probably stay there again.
