The lady who runs this is a champ, you'll want her as ya mum before you leave. good location as well. Belgrade rocks.

I rather enjoyed my brief stay at Downtown Hostel where I had a 6 bed dorm on my own. The hostess was very friendly an helpful to get information for sightseeing in this beautiful city. Everything was very clean and neat (which is important to a German).

Nothing particularly wrong with this hostel. Nice owner but we were the only people there at the time and it did feel a bit like we were intruding in his house!
Private room is little more than a cupboard with a futon (but it does have a lock!)

This hostel is great. The staff is nice and welcoming. I think that it would be better with lockers.

I had an awesome time at Downtown Hostel in Belgrade - really friendly people, and the nightlife rocks! The hostel staff is really cool, too. I definitely recommend it.

it was terrible, there were bugs crawling all over the room, and the receptionist was very rude. i would not suggest this hostel to anyone

Great little hostel with friendly atmosphere. Loved Belgrade and this hostel definitely added to my enjoyment. Sitting on the balcony watching the world go by - excellent.

DO NOT BOOK HERE....When I arrived (070908) other guests in the hostel warned me of the BED BUG PROBLEM, this was in both rooms and all the guests had been totally attacked. I didnt stick around to see, but when I told the guy working there that I was leaving his response was that he hadn't been bitten so it must be something else. People literally had hundreds of bites all over them and he didn't care. I ended up staying at Central backpackers less than 100 meters away and it was excellent.
