You have to have a bit of a sense of humour when you're staying here; two nights were karaoko nights in the club underneath my room. Staff were super informative.

Great hostel...but not good for socialising if you are travelling alone.

There was a beetle in our room, on the carpet. Alive (but not anymore). A small one, but still...
Anyway, in the shower room, building 3, apartment 2, there is a humidity stain on the ceiling, so maybe there's a leak upstairs ;) check it out.
The location was fine, the place's a bit claustrophobic, but it was close to the centre so it's okay.
The staff was perfect ;)

Great hostel with perfect location, great fun staff. Quiet if you want it to be. center to all the activity and pubs and bars.... STAY HERE!!!

There is a nightclub across the road, but I don't think it was open on a Tuesday which is when I stayed. The accommodation is fairly basic but substantial. Clean sheets and towel provided and there isn't anywhere else in Edinburgh you can get a single room for
