Unfortunately we were very disappointed. The description of this "arabic guesthouse" wasn't adequate-everywhere you can see, that the Fauzi has the most simple room setup and shabby "renovated".There wasn't any "unique world atmosphere" :-(

I strongly recomend the Fauzi Azar. Good service, marvelous breakfast - take it -, very clean and comfortable. Efficient, helpfull and friendly staff. Good for staying there if you are making the Jesus trail or if you have a car to go around Galilea, if not only for 1 or 2 nigths because in Nazareth there are no many sights like other cities and with the public transport is easier if you stay in Tiberias or Haifa

I have stayed here three times now. Wonderful place, staff go above and beyond eg. park your car for you, give advice, run hikes and tours plus have time to chat too.

The Fauzi Azar was a great place to spend our night in Nazareth. This place is simply character personified (hostelified?). The tall, painted ceilings, cozy, warm beds, and heavy wooden doors all made this place seem homey and cool. Everything was extremely clean, and the room was a good value for the money spent. Enjoyed the free extras, such as unlimited milk, tea, and internet on the shared desktop. Downside: signs point the way, but navigating through the nearly empty Nazareth souk wit...More
