The very steep steps up to the room surprised me, and was a bit hard to bring my suitcase up.

We had a splendid stay at Beira Mar, Lisboa and felt very welcome and at home. Fantastic view from our room!
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
We would enjoy very much to return...

The staff was incredibly nice and helpful, and the room was nice and tidy. They even had breakfast. One of the best things though, was being in the Fado district of town, where you can hear the Fado singers in the night if your lucky!! That was Great!! I would recommend it if your looking for a cheap hostel to stay in. But, there are 4 flights of stairs, so if you need an elevator...probably not a good idea.

Good location (5 minutes walk from Praco do Comercio) in a very friendly building and the building, sheets, towels, etc. were clean. Staff: friendly and speak many languages when combined. Provided breakfast is good. Only complaint is that they lost my deposit: make sure you call AND send e-mail to change your reservation, or they won

Has a huge flat screen tv WITH cable and free internet usage on an imac computer!The kitchen was very user friendly and the whole place was always kept exceptionally clean!The place is bright and fun and within a 10 min walk youll find everything you need.The rooms had great security and the showers were HOT!It really is all a credit to the lovely staff who added a touch of home to all guests making them more than welcome.I would reccomend this hostel in a heart beat!The Aussie Girls.
