If you're looking for comfort, this is not the place to be. It's my first time in a hostel and I hope other hostels are what it is like in their pictures. But it would be fun otherwise if you'd like to meet new people and just looking for a place to sleep but won't mind you're other roommates doing what. It has an excellent location. It was a fun experience but I might spend more money for comfort in the same area next time I would be in Amsterdam.

Was a street away from Red Light District, so a good place to stay for a big group that likes to Party, but a little too much for a couple or a single traveller.

The staff(esp the non anglo-saxon staff)were very cold and disliked being asked questions.One evening I made the mistake of sitting on the pool table and drinking the end of my friends can.The barman (asian) asked me to leave.I apologised for my lack of respect& got up to leave.He then started screaming& physically attacking me &began pushing my girlfriend.I believe he recieved punishment and hopefully he was fired.The toilets were filthy and stank.The private room was like a prison cell.

This place was not too bad in terms of location and juat a basic place to sleep. but make sure you take all your valubles with you. even if you put thm in the locker. We got broken into the first night.they even stole our clothes! the staff were not helpful at all..... even a bit suspicious to be honest as he was the guy in charge of letting people in and out the door. We did not wan to stay a second night but they refused to give us a refund for the following night....

it's okay. the location is perfect, the beds are good. it's quiet too. the toilets are dirty and there's no kitchen or community area, but if you need a cheap place in the centre to sleep, you'll be alright. i'd stay there again.

Definitely not smoker friendly. No character to the rooms either... but in the end, not a terrible place to stay.
