This hotel was the worst i ever chose with hostelworld.com. I payed 80 euros for one night and i couldn't sleep becasue the room was smeling like toilets. It was cold becausue of the bad isolation. I have to pay the first day and only by cash, the staff was not polite.

We had a FANTASTIC stay at Hotel Bertha. The price was great for two college students on a budget, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was charming. The location was fun and felt very safe, and it was an easy, quick walk from the metro station. We recommended it to all of our friends and hope to one day return! Thank you Hotel Bertha!!

our room reeked of mold. it was all along one of the walls in the bedroom and all over the shower and sink. staff was great and friendly. location close to metro, but not exactly walking distance to the champs-elysees, as advertised.

we staid 3days, and they havent even once cleaned our room. staff speaks a little english, the hotel is in good location.

Got aggro from the receptionist who quibbled over the agreed price from the website. Very unpleasant, would not recommend it at all. Room stunk of smoke, strange plank linking our window with the room opposite and generally very unpleasant.

ideally located for paris and airport, very cheap, but unclean bedlinen and bathroom, room was only serviced once in four days. didnt stay much in hotel much as out alot, so suited purpose!!

Staff was absolutely not helpfull. My room was not ready althought the reservation was made one week before.
I had no hot water, they just gave me the keys of antoher room to take a shower.
The room was not clean (lot of dust on the ground).
Very noisy place.
The receptionist man says "tu" end not "vous" (no respect for clients). And he doesn't answer when you talk him, ignoring you....
Furthermore, you can't go outside with the key of your room, you have to let it to him...

We had some problem checking in because they didn't have our reservation at first. And they didn't speak english. But things were sorted out after making some phone calls here and there.. Thankfully they are pleasant and nice people. The room was very minimal. Bed and shower. No problem if you're just looking for somewhere to put your luggage and sleep for few nights.
