Nice place! The beds are not very comfortable and the staff could've been a bit more friendly. However I'd recommend the hostel to any backpacker in Liverpool!

With two girls in a big room,it's not bad.But the bed is so hard, and I'm afraid of turnning the body over, because it's so noisy(the spring). It's not easy to find it.

This hostel is a disgrace. Cleanliness looks like has never been here. A part from reception that looks tidy and refurbished, the stink of mould in the corridors and bathroom was unbearable. No hot water from the shower. Every single surface in the common kitchen was dirty and sticky. However the staff was friendly and helpful.

It's quite a good location around 10 minutes walking from the city center, but the cleanliness is not that good and the structure is not the best

The highlight of the stay was the receptionist! Apart from that, not entirely noteworthy other than the fact that it is in a good location. The bathroom was frightening not only because it wreaked of mildew and I felt oddly dirtier after my shower, but it is motion-activated, so long shower-takers beware, you will be in the dark!

Maintenance shows a lack of respect for the guests!Walls grimy, bathrooms grim. I'm sure Room 7 wasn't the only one where we didn't want to take a shower. It is the end of the season but there is more than a season's grime around. The fabric of the building is good.Hire a caretaker or give them a bigger budget. It wouldn't take much!Repair and paint the rooms+kitchen urgently then set up rolling programme of maintenance. At the moment the lovely staff must feel ashamed of the current offering.

I reserved one bed in a 4 bed female room, but there was 5 beds in the room. Walls are thin, you hear conversations from next room, doors make a loud bang, so bring earplugs. During my arrival it was football night when the prices are higher, and I was asked to pay according to higher rates. Fortunately I remembered the prize in my booking confirmation and paid only the original prize. So pay attention that you do not get charged more than you should. Basic hostel, good for one night sleep.
