Staffs are very nice and helpful. Of course, atmosphere is not like on Ortygia, but it's good choice for budget travellers. Good and reasonable restaurant around the hostel.
But only one thing-- They should repair the door to showerroom.

We stayed in a private with own bathroom, and it was TINY. Bunk beds as well. The room was clean, you had to pay for internet. No kitchen because of renovations. Nothing really wrong with this hostel, but nothing really right either. Situated in central location between ruins and Ortigia... but quite a walk to either.

Great hostel. Just what we needed after a crappy hotel in Palermo.
20 seconds to the station perfectly placed for Ortiga, supermarket, good resturants and the Sights.
If we're back in Syracuse, we'll be staying here.

This place will become the bomb once it renovations expansion have been completed. Perfectly situated outside the train-station and in walking distance to the core districts. Lovely staff.
