The Pagration is far from Syntagma. No security.No soap. Must pay for warm watershower. No real door for the bathroom and no lock. Bathroom has muddy floors. Kitchen facilities are dirty and run down. No one around to help you in any way. They do appear when it's time to collect money. The owner will walk into your room at checkout time and wake you up to collect. The sheets stink and the area is EXTREMELY noisy.

Good value for $ and a great location if you love to get to know neighborhoods. Staff interesting & informative.

It is ugly and dirty. What made us surprised was the fact that they set different prices between online booking and extension of stay (though we stayed a night before, the guy charged us 20% more expensive when we wanted to stay one night more for emergency reason). 50 cents for 7 minute hot shower was not enough for girls, and they did not give any notice in their online advertisement. beware of additional charges at this hostel! Indonesian and Taiwanese travelers

You have to pay 50cents to get 7 min of hot water!Of all the countries we've been travelling to (18 in europe) Ihavenever seen this!!!! + the room was really cold and had no heating. Also the expression :on street parking: is a lie. it should say Good luck finding a space to park your car in athens!!!

Great place to stay for the price you're paying. It's in a nice neighborhood was a little hot in the rooms at night but it's getting cooler now so maybe it'll be ok. Sucks paying for a shower, but if it's hot just have a cold one!
