can't cook soup there
deafening; sound arrester is bad, I can hear the nois from the kitchen. It make you hard to sleep. And because this hostel is on the main road. There are a lot of noise even in the midnight.

Just stayed one night, but seemed pretty clean, and a good place to meet up with other travellers.

Booked a 10 bed dorm but was moved to a mixed dorm due to painting problems.. got me free breakfast instead. i really appreciate it!! perfect location on the royal mile in the old town, half way from Edinburgh castle and holyrood park. would definitely come back again!!

Very small, but this makes it cozy and homey which is great! No real kitchen but other than that awesome place to stay!

Nice young Scottish girl on front desk, very helpful in helping a crazed american and a drunk brit to find their way around this labyrintine city.
