They told us the hostel will be sadly closed until spring 2009! Sorry for those of you coming to Brighton until then, you will not be able to experience the Seadrgon!

Karen and Glen were excellent hosts but her younger brother was the highlight. He was charming, witty and suave, worth the price of a night (which is incredibly reasonable) alone, a delight.

It was expensive compered to other private accomodations with better room facilities in Brighton. And the photos on the website put a more favourable face on the rooms than in reality.

This is a charming hostel, located about ten minutes walk from the centre of Brighton. There is always free tea and coffee, a TV is available 24 hours a day and the member of staff I met was very friendly. Probably not the best hostel to stay in if you want to meet people, but otherwise it does the job well.

Good, clean hostel with really friendly hosts. It was pretty quiet when i was there so not a party place but good place to chill and relax. Close to the beach too.

This hostel is good overall. A little far from the train station, but well situated between Brighton and Hove - I recommend taking a bus from the train though. Good kitchen. Visitors are mostly left to themselves (no staff around for most of the time), so be prepared to be self-sufficient.

The Seadragon was fine for our needs - basic but conveniently located. If I was being picky - the beds weren't very comfortable, you could feel every spring in the mattress! Also, even though the kitchen was well equipped and nice, a mircowave would've been really useful! Overall it was good though!
