It is a very warm place. I've had great experiences in all YHA chain of hostels in England. Very recommendable.

A little bit far away from the city center. Its on the Bathwick Hill. However, anyway, it's a nice place.

there is a little path from the train station to the hostel if you do not want to climb up all the way. the beds are low, which look like sleep on the floor, but it is fine. we sleep there for a night, and happen to get noisy room-mates

Nice enough hostel but on the side of a massive hill a long way from town and diffucult to find first off, the bus stop is however right across the road so it's not a major.

It said room, but we got a janitors closet.

Great facilities, hostel was just a long way up the hill from the centre of bath- not an easy walk. Bath is beautiful though. would stay here again

Although out of the way from the city, this was a nice place to spend a night. If the weather is nice, make sure you walk into town via the "scenic" route -- it is a delightful stroll with a great view of the city of bath! Coming back in the evening for us was not as fun though, as Bath's bus system was not the greatest, and the bus drivers not the friendliest.

Loved this YHA, one the the nicest ones i've stayed in (despite the very steep hill climb) and definitely heaps of character. Definately would, and already have, recommended it.
