Breakfast is gorgeous! Location is good and beautiful by the water, a little bit far of the main attraction (15 min. walk)... but print a map before and if you don't have a heavy bag you can walk it! Shower are smalls!

Would definitely recommend this hostel for a stay in York. Nice and safe area, you can walk into town within 20 min on a main road with smaller shops (sainsbury local, spar) hotels, B&Bs and pubs. Hostel provides you with any information you need about your visit in York. Breakfast is excellent for a hostel.

Staff very helpful and very good free breakfast. Location was a 20 minute walk 5 minute bus journey from the centre of York but otherwise great hostel. Would stay again.

breakfast was great, rooms were very cosy, good toilet bathroom.staff very helpful. only down fall is a good 20min walk from train station but its basically a straight road.i would defo stay again

We found it a bit of mission to find this place, but only really because we were on foot with big backpacks and we were pretty disorganised. when we got there however we were pleasantly surprised - very friendly, secure and very clean which is always good when it comes to hostels. Very family friendly and basically every facility you could possibly need.

really cool building. A bit of a walk from the town center, but easily manageable and in a nice area. Staff was friendly and helpful, all in all a good place to stay the night.
