    About the hostel

    Bothy Hostel is a perfect place for any backpackers, located in a safe street just 5 minutes from the spectacular Plaza de Armas and only 2 minutes from Arequipa’s bustling nightlife. NOTE: Our staff can recommend the best of Arequipenian s bars and clubs, and on some nights we can arrange a guided group bar crawl. The Hostel Too have no curfew and no lockout, so you can party 'til you drop and know you can get back in to your room whatever the hour!We have a common roof top terrase with hammocks, chairs and a table which is a great place for travellers to socialize and meet people and of course take spectacular views of the surrounding volcanoes and little villages! There is also a common DVD room where you can a wide selection of movies is offered. Or you can chill out on the courtyard or in the bar where you can order your drinks. Breakfast is served in the bar area from 7:30 until 10:30 every day. Free internet service is included or you can benefit from free wifi in case you are travelling with your laptop. We will do all your laundry for just a small fee. You can store your personal things and valuables in lockers placed close to our reception. For a little fee we offer book exchange.We offer simple but comfortable accomodation and of course we pay extreme atention to cleaniness of all rooms and bathrooms at all times. Bathrooms are shared for all our guests and there is always hot water from solar heating system and electric as well in case there is no sun. Our reasonable prices allow you to access all the services in the hostel!Despite doing our best to keep Bothy Hostel clean at all times we would like to ask our guests to respect the premises as well since we have faced some property intolerance in the past.We organize diverse activities every day.     Welcome to Bothy Hostel in Arequipa Peru Our gorgeous hostel is one of Arequipa´s newest, and most definitely the funkiest and friendliest! We are located in a safe street just 5 minutes walk from Arequipa´s spectacular Plaza de Armas, and even closer to Arequipa´s bustling nightlife. We are a new hostel, with fun and friendly staff who love spoiling every guest who walks through our door. Bothy Hostel offers rooms for an exceptionally affordable price. All rooms are clean, spacious, include linen and warm blankets, plus thick comfy mattresses. We have a common area with a huge DVD collection for those times when you just want to chill out. We also have a gorgeous roof top terrace with hammocks and table and chairs which is the ideal place for travelers to socialise and meet people, and of course take in the spectacular views of the surrounding volcanoes. We frequently have barbeques so guests can meet and get to know one another. Bothy Hostel has great atmosphere at all times of the day. Bring your beers in and we are happy to open them for you! We have a kitchen that our guests are welcome to use. The hostel has all the facilities a traveler values including comfortable rooms, common areas, courtyard, kitchen, TV room, free Internet, inhouse tour service, baggage storage, hot water, and we speak English and German!
