Fit is located in a street called Fitjabraut and lies parallel to the mainstreet of Njar�v�k, Njararbraut. The hostel/guesthouse offers sleeping bag and made up beds accomodation in 29 rooms. These towns were built up around the fish industry but today has mostly been replaced by tourist related and service jobs.Iceland is forming on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge (since volcanoes in Iceland are still active).Landscape in the area of Reykjanes is distinguishable by volcanic activity in the forms of mountains maid of palagonite that were formed under ice or water and many layers of lava.
