Waipio Hostel is a small 6 room hostel located in the picturesque village of Kukuihaele on Hawaii Island, also known as the Big Island. It is the perfect location for people hiking Waipio and Waimanu Valleys, or for people looking to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy the peace and quiet of country living. The charming old plantation house is on a property with fruit trees - tangerines, oranges, grapefruit, bananas, sweet guavas, and macadamia nuts - guest can help themselves to these tasty treats. It is near the county park and just a 20 minute walk to the Waipio Valley lookout. All of the rooms are nicely decorated and come with linens and towels. The hostel has many interesting books - history of Hawaii, picture books of Hawaii, and some really old books about Hawaii.
