The B&B 'Casa Cimino' has been established in an environment of late 19th century in Monopoli (Bari). The house, built in the historic Via Cimino, which, in the 16th century, corresponded to the border of the old city, the current 'historic center', was almost adjacent to the walls that protected the population from the frequent invasions of the Lombards, Venetians, Aragonese and Spanish, which, during centuries of invasions, have certainly left in the city's architecture many sites to visit such as the Castle of Charles V, the town-walls, the Abbey of St. Stephen, as well as many religious cave dwellings and historical buildings all over the territory. The B&B 'Casa Cimino' has beautiful large typical rooms, either vaulted or with arched openings in the walls, while the breakfast room, a triumph of architecture, is marked with side walls that rise up to join the barrel-shaped vault entirely built in original tuff of late 19th century.
